INTRODUCING RESIN8tm
A breakthrough concrete modifier made from mixed plastic waste

ACCEPTS
All types of mixed and dirty Remediated Plastic Waste
(Resins 1-7)
CONVERTS
To a high-value concrete modifier that perfectly simulates construction sand
IMPROVES
Structural, thermal & environmental properties of concrete products
Our Process
REAP: Recover – Enrich – Appreciate – Prosper is a collaborative, Net-Zero focused circular economy business model, inspired by biomimicry. It creates inter-relationships between diverse industries where the waste stream of one becomes the value stream for the next, where the sum of the output is greater than the sum of all the inputs and finally, where consumption becomes regenerative.
REAP was Finalist People’s Choice Category Circularity Awards at the World Economic Forum in 2016.
MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS
Modifies all structural & non-structural concrete products
Concrete blocks
& pavers

Pre-cast
concrete

Poured in
place concrete

Structural applications use between 3% – 10% RESIN8™ in the concrete mix design.
Non-structural applications use up to 25% RESIN8™ in the concrete mix design
TRIED & TESTED
RESIN8tm is the only material from plastic waste to maintain or improve the performance of concrete products and earn acceptance from the construction industry.
Porous composition and gradation
of RESIN8tm improves both the mechanical and chemical bond to cement

CRDC has completed over $1 million in testing for compressive strength, water absorption, fire resistance, thermal resistance and abrasion.
- Based on ASTM E119 International standards testing
- Based on ASTM Testing on concrete blocks containing 5% RESIN8tm

About CRDC
The Center for Regenerative Design and Collaboration (CRDC) is a global entity with headquarters in Ireland. The company was founded in Costa Rica by Donald Thomson, who was inspired to innovate a permanent solution to the plastic crisis while leading a volunteer beach clean-up program. With humble beginnings in 2010, CRDC is presently recognized internationally for its contributions toward sustainable product design.
CRDC is comprised of a multi-disciplinary group of world-class associates. The team’s diversity of expertise includes packaging and food/beverage executives, environmental scientists, concrete and construction engineers, as well as innovative award-winning designers. The integration of their knowledge and experience supports CRDC’s mission to rid the world of mismanaged plastic and create regenerative products that appreciate in value.
Foundational to our business approach is the facilitation of cross industry collaboration between plastic producers, waste management companies and the construction industry, as well as social and environmental NGOs.
We acknowledge the enormity of the task we collectively face as society, and now that our technology presents a solution, we have a collective responsibility to make it happen. We invite you to join us in solving the climate, waste and housing crises as we build a better, Net-Zero world for all.
