CRDC Global is a green building materials and machinery technology company founded by the Center of Regenerative Design & Collaboration (CRDC), an incubator of zero waste technologies that harness the commercial potential of regenerative design. Our patented industrial process unlocks the world's first comprehensive and economically viable circular economy for plastics by ensuring that 100% of collected plastic waste can be restored to use in valuable new products. Instead of going to waste in landfills, incinerators, and the environment, low-value plastics ineligible for traditional recycling become our raw materials for RESIN8™, an advanced hybrid mineral-polymer recycled content solution that enriches concrete and asphalt for the construction industries — and can be productively recycled into new concrete and asphalt aggregates at end of life.

Our passion for intelligent product design, manufacturing, and continuous innovation is inspired by the regenerative circular economy model we call REAP. An acronym for RecoverEnrichAppreciateProsper, REAP guides us to eliminate waste through industrial symbiosis—transforming the waste of one industry into raw materials for another industry. REAP challenges us to continuously ensure that the social, environmental, and economic output of our business are greater than its inputs, producing a virtuous cycle of positive outcomes that grows over time, everywhere we work. In 2025 we have industrial manufacturing operations in Costa Rica, South Africa, the United States, and Australia. We aim to deliver the same regenerative solution in more locations soon. The concrete solution to plastic waste is at hand, for all of us.

From its origin as a volunteer beach cleanup program in Costa Rica, CRDC GLOBAL was founded with the ambitious mission to create appreciating value from the world's plastic waste.

Today we manufacture RESIN8™ recycled content from hard-to-recycle plastic waste in Costa Rica, South Africa, Australia, and the United States, and we export our products globally.

Our 20 x 20 VISION for continuous global expansion calls for locating RESIN8™ manufacturing in 20 cities, each converting 20,000 tons of hard-to-recycle plastics per year.

WHY we RESIN8™

Plastic waste 

is a pervasive environmental issue

The alarming growth in plastic pollution threatens ecosystems, wildlife, and human health

The widespread and growing use of plastic products, combined with inadequate waste management systems, has led to a massive accumulation of plastic debris in our oceans, rivers, and landfills.

The primary driver of plastics pollution is a rate of global plastics production that has doubled since the beginning of the century, to nearly 400 million metric tons per year in 2021.  But a critical contributor is the shortage of economically viable methods to recover, recycle, and repurpose post-use plastics at scale.
